I build up a trusting relationship to my young patients. So a girl sees me, in addition to her parents, as a neutral person of contact for all physical and sexual questions that might arise in the future.
The gynecological care of girls needs its own training because illnesses appear and progress quite differently in girls than in adult women. As a trained child and youth gynecologist, I also advise on disorders of gender and puberty development, hormonal diseases (including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)), bleeding disorders, eating disorders and discuss all questions of intimate hygiene, physical change, self-image and self-confidence as well as self-determination and self-protection when in contact with the opposite sex with the girls.
Children, prior to puberty, want their mothers or fathers at their side during the visit. Physical examinations only take place if the little girl also agrees. Nothing happens against the will of the child. But through loving and cheerful devotion, cooperation of little girls is actually always easy to achieve.
"The first time" raises many questions: "Will I do it right?", "Does it hurt?", "What does he or she expect from me?", "Is my body all right as it is?", "..."!
Most information regarding the "first time" comes from female friends and the Internet. Unfortunately, this information often differs greatly from reality and creates more uncertainty than self-confidence. Therefore it makes sense to discuss all topics, such as physicality, love, sexuality and contraception in detail before the "first time" or even afterwards. You and I will take our time to discuss things in detail from woman to woman, or also from woman to woman to man, if you allow your boyfriend to accompany you to your visit with me. It is often funny and enriching when he accompanies you to the gynecologist. Men sometimes have the most interesting questions that we women wouldn't even think of.
In any case, we have an open and cheerful conversation without time pressure in order to discuss the most suitable contraceptive method for you. I will show you how to use condoms correctly and safely and explain to you how the pill, hormone patches, vaginal rings, spirals and natural contraception work/s. You can see and touch all contraceptives during your visit. We'll talk about how you, as a woman, can best protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections, how they can be detected in men and how you can best take care of yourself if you get into a dicey situation that you want to get out of quickly. We also talk about various “date-rape drugs”, such as so called “knock-out drops” or rohypnol (aka “roofies”) and of course how you can protect yourself from assault.
But above all, your appointment with me should be a pleasant discussion of all questions regarding the changes of the body and provide you with a good feeling for a natural and safe sexuality. The aim is to give you, as a young woman, self-confidence and security in dealing with these complex issues.
I only perform a gentle gynecological check-up after your first sexual intercourse, during which I explain each step of the examination in detail beforehand. You and I take our time for the examination which, by the way, is completely painless.
In case you need urgent help for any reason, I will give you my personal mobile number. Write me a WhatsApp if you get into any trouble. I will get back to you as soon as I can. There is no problem for which I don’t have a solution.
I look forward to getting to know you!

An acute or postoperative wound is often an enormous psychological burden for patients. The most modern wound dressings support the body’s own physiological healing process in a cell-activating and anti-inflammatory way and thus leads to rapid wound closure.

In resource-oriented hypnotic psychotherapy, creative parts of the unconscious are used through therapeutic work with a changed state of consciousness. Because of this, new ways for problem solving and personal development become accessible. Experiences from the past, which emerge and are processed during the hypnotic trance, can be of importance for the treatment of current problems.
